Residential Yard Waste Pickup Schedule
Yard waste is collected on your trash day April through November. Carroll County’s Solid Waste Ordinance prohibits yard waste from being mixed with standard household trash. Yard waste must be packaged in paper lawn bags and placed curbside the night before pickup. All brush and limbs must be bundled in 4 foot by 4 foot  piles. Loose limbs at the curb will not be collected. Dumping of yard waste in the parks and other wooded areas in the Town or along the Linear Trail is prohibited.

Commercial Trash Pickup Schedule

The Town offers monthly rental and service rates for dumpsters. Please call 410-795-8959 for a quote. Commercial pickup is 2 days a week, Monday and Thursday.
Trash Container Ordinance
129-10. Container specifications; storage of containers.

(1) Trash cans of a durable grade of galvanized metal or other suitable material approved by the Zoning Administrator, from 20 to 32 gallon capacity. They should be provided with 2 lifting handles on opposite sides and a tightly fitting cover with a lifting handle. The can should be without inside protrusions, and the solid waste should be loosely packed so that the contents shall discharge freely when the receptacle is inverted.
