Reuse Waste

Give products a second life!

When it comes to reusing products, your imagination is the limit. Listed below are some suggestions:

Globe  / Buy reusable, refillable, rechargeable products instead of disposables (i.e. ceramic plates, silverware, cloth napkins, sponges, rags, cloth diapers, razors, pens, batteries, cameras, etc.).

Globe /  Reuse grocery bags for your next trip to the store or use a mesh or canvas tote bag.

Globe /  Reuse plastic and glass containers to store leftovers, buttons, crayons, nails, etc.

Globe  / Reuse gift boxes, ribbons, large pieces of wrapping and tissue paper.

Globe /  Return wire hangers to dry cleaners, planters to nurseries, and plastic grocery bags to the grocers.

Globe /  Give reusable items (i.e. clothes, books, magazines, appliances, furniture, toys, etc.) a second life. Donate or give them to friends, neighbors, schools, nursing homes, charities, or have a garage sale.

Globe / Repair, repaint, refurbish, or mend those items you think no longer have a life. You will be surprised at how good it looks and how much longer it will last with just a little time and work.

Globe /  Don't throw those broken appliances away, have them repaired. (Look in your local telephone directory for repair shops.)
