 A building permit is required from the Town of Sykesville and from Carroll County for improvements to the exterior of your property, including but not limited to: decks, pools, sheds, garages, additions, and retaining walls. Property owners in the Sykesville Historic District must also submit an application to the Historic District Commission. Please call the Town House at 410-795-8959 for information.

Residents - (incorporated Town limits) - $50.00 and Non-residents - $75.00. Horseshoe, Bocce Ball, and other equipment are available. All equipment must be returned the next day if equipment is used Monday- Thursday and on Monday if used on a weekend. Only those pets on a leash are allowed at the park. Persons with pets are responsible for the removal of all pet wastes.
