click for the Snow Emergency web site The Sykesville Police Department would like to remind all residents and visitors of the importance of driving slowly and carefully through our town. Please remember to watch your speed at all times. The posted speed limit in most of our community is 25 miles per hour. Remember, Maryland law requires all vehicles come to a complete stop at stop signs. This is especially important in our residential areas due to the increased vehicular traffic as well as our heavy pedestrian traffic.
Officers are on duty after the
normal business hours and on weekends.
