We envision the Town as a community of caring citizens who are committed to making this beautiful Town a destination of choice for our residents and visitors. We know the success of our Town depends upon creative partnerships between government, education, business, and our citizens. Together we will strive to assure the highest quality of life for those who choose to live, work, worship, and play here. With excellence as our standard and a deep sense of pride, we are dedicated to preserving the traditions of our past while continually investing in our future.
Our Mission The Department mission covers a wide array of duties including : Solid waste disposal / recycling management and maintaining public buildings, including public parks, and mowing of grass. We also take care of the streets within the Town limits, this includes ice / snow removal. We are dedicated to the service of our citizens and the people that visit our town.

· Delivering friendly, courteous and efficient services to our citizens, businesses, and visitors. · Providing opportunities for citizens to participate in an accessible government. · Insuring a safe environment through and appropriately staffed and equipped police force. · Maintaining and periodically improving high quality sustainable facilities and infrastructure. · Preserving and sharing our local heritage through cultural and educational opportunities. · Protecting our natural resources and open spaces while encouraging and providing recreational opportunities and facilities. · Promoting downtown vitality and development of our local economy. |
