Our car was built in 1910 by the Pullman Company. Originally a 28 - chair Parlor car belonging to the Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad (C&O), it served as a blacked - out cafeteria car for troops during World War II. Returned to C&O after the war, it eventually became a CSX office car, serving as such until May 1993 at Laurel, Maryland. Planned renovations at Laurel did not include this car, and CSX donated it to the B&O Railroad Museum in Baltimore in 1993. The Museum is providing the car to Sykesville for use by the S&P Railway. It is presently the home of our G, O, HO, and N - Scale model railroads. We are located in Historic Sykesville by the old Baltimore & Ohio Mainline, at Oklahama & Baldwin Avenue.
